PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
North Charleston, SC
As a Manufacturing Technician at LUMIQ Inc., you will play a key role in the production, assembly, and delivery of Lightmaps.io products. You will work hands-on with equipment, materials, and processes to ensure high-quality standards are met. This position requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic, small-team environment.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Hand soldering of electronic components.

Setting up and operating UV printing and laser cutting equipment.

Assembling parts and products according to specifications.
-
Preparing finished products for shipment with accurate labeling and protective packaging.

Tracking, organizing, and restocking materials and supplies.

Performing routine equipment checks and resolving production or equipment issues.

Coordinating and processing orders for on-time delivery.
Qualifications

Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related technical work preferred.

Basic soldering skills and comfort working with small tools.

Familiarity with UV printing and/or laser cutting equipment a plus (training provided).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team.

Good communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Hands-on work in a workshop/production environment.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
North Charleston, SC or Remote
As a Customer Service Specialist at LUMIQ Inc., you will be the primary point of contact for Lightmaps.io customers who need assistance with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of their products. You will communicate directly with users via email and phone, helping them get the most value from their Lightmap experience. This role requires clear communication, problem-solving ability, patience, and a genuine desire to help customers succeed. You’ll work closely with our technical and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responding to customer emails and phone calls regarding product setup, usage, and troubleshooting.

Walking customers through Lightmap configuration and installation steps with clarity and professionalism.

Documenting common issues, solutions, and customer feedback to improve product and support workflows.

Creating and updating help articles, FAQs, and support resources.

Coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve complex or product-specific issues.

Tracking and managing open support cases to ensure timely, accurate follow-up.

Assisting with order-related questions such as shipping, replacements, or warranty inquiries.
Qualifications

Prior experience in customer service, technical support, or help desk roles preferred.

Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
